Two memes in two days -- I may be ill.

Nicked from smallship1:

Make up a title for a story I didn't write, and I will respond with details of those non-written stories. You may, if you like, include details, such as pairings or fandom or whatnot. Any fandom I know is fair game. (Not, I hasten to add, necessarily fanfic, since that really isn't my thing, but I wouldn't rule it out either.)

Introducing Frank and Jan was an absolute natural (although I'm still very, very glad it didn't go to the sticky place o' porn, because ew). Introducing them during a Dougal convention, even moreso.

Introducing them and then forcing them to flee a Dougal mad scientist bent on ruling the world with his horrible monstrocities?

Comedy gold.

When you put the world under as much pressure as it's been under recently, with the terrorism and the wars and the steadily growing work weeks and everything else, you need a counterbalance. Hence my theoretical explosion in people empowered to act in the name of the Trickster, and hence 'Coyote Boom', which was really the only natural response to what could easily be seen as the current fun bust.

Besides, normal people + ACME products rocks.

This wasn't so much a story as a stab at autobiography, although the whole 'written as if I'm already dead' thing helped with the whole 'story' spin. I dunno. I enjoyed it, and sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, at least where I'm concerned...

Dude, this was just. Plain. Fun. Following the idea that Alice Liddel's sister's descendants would have inherited her ability to speak to cats and fall through mirrors to its natural conclusion was pure awesome from start to finish. I didn't expect half the side-characters that popped up (although I, personally, think that the office of the White Rabbit being something you acquire, and the whole thing where the current White Rabbit had a thing for the March Hare, made perfect sense), but I loved seeing where it went.

Also, Gina was just an awesome unwilling modern-day semi-Alice with a blunt instrument, and she made me happy.

Thi is actually the first line of a little song that Ellie inspired during our holiday but it's too good a title to waste

"Little Pinky Ponies eat Zombies and Grass"

I claim no credit for it.

Ellie (aged nearly-three) told us that her Pinky Pony toy eats zombies and grass while we were on holidy 2 weeks ago. she then went on to inform us that some zombies are nice and others aren't. She didn't, however, enlighten us as to whether Pinky Pony's chosen diet was partiular about excluding the nice zombies....

Her Pink Bear, apparently, eats zombies and honey.

My theory is that Ellie was overexposed to Seanan at an very early age.

That's not a theory.

That's just plain truth.
