Caught in a pitcher-plant song.

I am working on a song -- which isn't unusual -- but it's the sort of song, that, well, doesn't want to end. Ever. It's like I'm stuck in a musical pitcher plant. The verses don't resolve to a conclusion, they resolve into another verse. Unless they resolve into a chorus, which only resolves into, wait for it, another verse ( Read more... )

Argh, the dreaded circle song syndrome. At least it hasn't hit the point where the chorus swings right back into the first verse... I hope?

*grin* I got an email from Johnathan Coulton yesterday. I'd asked him if he'd heard of filk, and if he'd thought of coming to any conventions. He *has* heard, and he's been considering coming to something. ;-)

Rand apparently emailed him a while back, suggesting that Coulton and Ookla join forces and take over the world. Coulton was apparently amenable.

I'm frightened, and thrilled. :)
