I’m pretty sore and tired today. I don’t remember what I did on Friday night, but Saturday was spent preparing for a family-only birthday party for James 14th. Mary helped SO MUCH by doing the shopping for me. She also made the spaghetti sauce for me.

Yesterday after getting back from deep sea fishing all day (they left the house at 5:25am and got back at 2:30pm) he showered and jumped into his baseball uniform to go work out with the Ballhogs. His coach mostly worked him at short, which he’s not played regularly in over 3 years. When we got home I asked him how he liked working in the infield.

Last night was fun. James and I went down to the Coronado Ferry Landing and fished for a little over 3 hours. On the way down to the bay we stopped and got some fresh sardines from Sea Food City and some food for us at Royal Mandarin.
All we took with us was some very very basic tackle, some chairs & blankets, and two poles. We had a blast
