I got the job!!
I am the Library Media Assistant at our local middle school. (But the title is a bit misleading as I'm in charge of the whole library.) I'm thrilled. The job seems like a perfect match. I start Monday!!! I am in the WOW!/YIKES! phase. There will be some major changes in our family.

I'm happy to report that it is actually snowing here! Really snowing, the trees are filling up, the roads are white, the deck railing already has 5 inches and there is that muffled by snow feeling around the house. Ahh...
(I am ignoring the fact that it is only 9am and the kids are in full fighting mode because it is finally snowing!)

I've been feeling kind of quiet lately. Not much to report, except unexciting things like the stomach flu is going around our house (yuck-I am not a fan!) And we still don't have any snow, which doesn't feel right. I've been doing a little writing, a little reading and lots of laundry!
