*understands* I know what it's like to live with horrible housemates. It is imperative to be able to feel comfortable in your own home. Even if your job is shitty to be able feel good about going home makes it a little bit better. If you need to change one thing, make it the home thing. Anthony needs to understand that you are miserable and you cannot sharehouse any longer. The good thing about your situation is that you're not trapped in a lease, you can jump ship whenever you want.
Or you could just invite you mother and us over as often as you want and watch Naomi self destruct when it becomes *apparent* that she can't control everything you do. What I don't understand is why she wants to sharehouse when it is obvious that she does not like it.
Could you register with temping agencies now, so that there's less time without work while you're looking for something new? I know they're not a long-term option, but it might mean enough money to pay the rent while thinking of a way out.
Other than that, I just hope you can find a way to move very soon. Even work probably wouldn't seem quite so bad if your home was your sanctuary :/

Your boss sounds horrible -- is there any chance of finding something different? Good jobs are hard to come by but at the very least you may be able to find one with a decent boss/co-workers -- I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, definitely :)
I am so sorry to hear your misery at home and work ... of course I am aware of these problems ... but they have been going on for too long! Why do you have to take time off work to look for another job? You could take a couple of weeks off and not find anything. That's only a small window of time. Just post your resume online and see what offers! Potential employers will arrange interviews for lunch or after work when you are already employed
