I am so sorry to hear your misery at home and work ... of course I am aware of these problems ... but they have been going on for too long! Why do you have to take time off work to look for another job? You could take a couple of weeks off and not find anything. That's only a small window of time. Just post your resume online and see what offers! Potential employers will arrange interviews for lunch or after work when you are already employed.
With Anthony's sister, why don't you try walking out on her? Or shouting at her, or just screaming? Or throw yourself on the floor and drum your heels against the carpet! How much worse could it get? She could hit you ... or throw you out ... would that be worse than continuing in a miserable situation? You might even find that if you are prepared to take the consequences of fighting back, whatever they may be, you change the dynamics of the relationship of the relationship for the better. Remember Don Thompson? I had another of the same in Keith Livingstone at QCAG. I was afraid of losing my job so I took a lot of crap from him. But the day he started berating me totally unreasonably and I decided I had had enough, picked up my keys and walked out, saying "I don't have to put up with this" was the day our relationship changed. Fear of losing the job had me copping behaviour that I should never had accepted. And the funny thing is that once I fronted the bully the raltionship changed. Keith never spoke to me like that again.
Of course, it helps to have money in the bank. But even without that, if you found yourself homeless and unemployed your mother would take you in and you could get unemployment benefits!
Do sometning! Yell at somebody! Stick your head out the window and yell "I'm not going to take this any more!" This is your life you are wasting feeling miserable!
