MacArthur Maze, fire, oakland

The Freeway burned and collapsed part of the MacArthur Maze
and we were in the hood so like good gawkers we went for a lookie loo.
Freeways fascinate me and this is one of the great flyover messes ever created,
the Maze connection leading to the Oakland Bay bridge,
this part being only a miniscule portion.

I only see metal like this in the North

I used to have a lot of dreams that involved twisting overpasses like that. I would usually be gliding along them quickly somehow, just me, not in a car. And I was usually lost and confused and scared. And there were often collapsed parts of course. But the sky was never a beautiful blue like that.
