Real life is way more unpredictable than fiction.

As for Kirk/Spock if the writers of the reboot felt like it, now would be the time, for a kiss to happen. For all intents and purposes the original author heavily implied that they would kiss if they were allowed to.

If they decided to go in that direction, it would be really amazing (I know that the writers of the reboot did make Uhura Spock's GF specifically because they wanted someone to comfort Spock after Vulcan blew up & it would normally be Kirk but they weren't close enough yet in this continuity).

Sometimes, it's about love.

Yes.

Like yes action heroes can be gay, badass, and awesome. Alas, it is also still unlikely to happen.

Alas. There's captain Jack, but he's from the UK, so, yeah. Also, pansexual, but not straight, at least.

Ohh that dance scene was certainly one of my favorite for Damon/Elena, beautifully done and acted <3 I can never number/organize my choices with them (or this show in general really lol) though... gaah too many good moments!!

I haven't watched Smallville in a while, but I catch snippets of Clark/Lois here and there and it doesn't take much for me to discern that they are soo my OTP where that show is concerned..

I so second you about the declining love for Matt/Caroline. I didn't have a great deal against them season 1--although I could never fully get behind it because he still wasn't all that amazing to her and he still had his Elena hang-ups--but now I actually don't want them together, and upon revisiting some of their scenes in season 1 I'm surprised I was even okay with them back then (the back-handed complimenting is nothing new ( ... )

That was the moment that made me start to ship them! It was so intense.

The Clark and Lois for SV also have really fantastic chemistry. And I love how they've developed the relationship on the show.

Neat meme! You know, I'm not a fan of Hermione/Ron either, but add Harry into the mix and I'm all for it. I have a weakness for threes.

Harry makes everything better!

Well, I suppose not everything, but I agree that he evens out the Hermione/Ron stuff.

The acting is exquisite - you can really see the rest of the world fall away until it's just the two of them.

Aww...very well-said. :D I have my issues with the ep, but I can't deny that dance is amazing. :)

(I love that you used "Defying Gravity" for Caroline/Stefan -- that makes a lot of sense. Great song, too. :)

Question: I hated the whole Ten II ending for Doctor/Rose, as well -- would you have preferred Rose to just remain alone, in love with her memories? I always thought that was the kinder ending, and would have shown she was in love with the Doctor, not...some guy who happened to look like him. :/ But I didn't really 'ship Ten/Rose (Nine/Rose all the way!), so...I'm curious to hear a 'shipper perspective, from someone who didn't like the Ten II ending either. :D

Yeah, I adore that song.

Oh, I don't hate the ending at all! I consider it the best that we reasonably could have gotten, given that the Doctor was going to go on to Moffat next and he basically spits on Rose and her emotions and the Doctor when he's around Rose. But if there existed a universe where Doctor Who was flat-out ending when RTD, Billie, and David were all leaving, then I'd have preferred a 'happy ending' with Ten and Rose going off on adventures together ( ( ... )
