Yeah, I adore that song.
Question: I hated the whole Ten II ending for Doctor/Rose, as well -- would you have preferred Rose to just remain alone, in love with her memories? I always thought that was the kinder ending, and would have shown she was in love with the Doctor, not...some guy who happened to look like him. :/ But I didn't really 'ship Ten/Rose (Nine/Rose all the way!), so...I'm curious to hear a 'shipper perspective, from someone who didn't like the Ten II ending either. :D
Oh, I don't hate the ending at all! I consider it the best that we reasonably could have gotten, given that the Doctor was going to go on to Moffat next and he basically spits on Rose and her emotions and the Doctor when he's around Rose. But if there existed a universe where Doctor Who was flat-out ending when RTD, Billie, and David were all leaving, then I'd have preferred a 'happy ending' with Ten and Rose going off on adventures together (I wrote more on this subject, back in the day, if you're interested: tag for Doctor Who: series 4).
But I also do think that Ten II was the Doctor, just as much as Ten was the Doctor after he regenerated from Nine.
