Why do you dislike 11 (Clark/Chloe) so much?
Wait, this was supposed to be about dislike? I never liked them. I didn't... actively hate the idea. I just thought they weren't suited and it was pointless anyway because, omg, LOIS! Who is love and awesome and the love of Clark's life when I don't really believe in the concept of 'love of _____'s life' outside of fiction, but it's LOIS (who is love)! So, yeah. I guess I found the Chlois thing (where Chloe was supposed to reveal that she was secretly Lois) puzzling because of how completely NOT LOIS Chloe is, but that's about it.
Who is someone you know that ships 14 (Caroline/Tyler)?
12_12_12, who I only recently friended on LJ and who is awesome and knows that Caroline deserves to be treated awesomely.
What would be your ideal scenario for 3 (Doctor/Rose)?
If there had been no constraints (RTD, Billie, David all moving on), I would have preferred an ending without Ten II; just the Doctor and Rose. But considering everything, I'm damn happy with the ending that I got.
What is your favourite moment for 1 (Damon/Elena)?
Might still be the dance in "Miss Mystic Falls" - that was epic. I always love it when my OTP gets a chance to dance together; it makes me go all squishy and happy inside. So, that was great. Apart from that, they have tons of great moments in "Let the Right One In", "Fool Me Once", "The Sacrifice", "Daddy Issues", and "The Return" that would all make it high on my list. But, yeah. That dance. The acting is exquisite - you can really see the rest of the world fall away until it's just the two of them.
How long have you been following 6 (Lois/Clark)?
I can't remember a time before loving Lois/Clark in some format. L&C: the New Adventures of Superman started in 1993 (I was 11), but I came into that show already loving the pairing because of the movies and the comics. All my life, I suppose, is the correct answer.
What's the story with 8 (Jenna/Alaric)? What made you stop liking/caring?
I just got kinda bored with how it was at a standstill. They might interest me again because of the 'Jenna might find out' plotline.
You have the power to make one ship nonexistent. Choose from 10 (Sam/Jack) or 12 (Elizabeth/Jack).
Oh, definitely Sam/Jack. Easy call. Elizabeth/Jack is a key part of the plotline of the movies and I think it's essential to how Elizabeth develops, so I would never wish it away. While Sam/Jack just got in the way of the things on the show that I did like and it did horrible things to both Sam and Jack as characters.
Which ship do you prefer, 2 (Kirk/Spock) or 4 (Kris/Adam)?
Kris/Adam. Though both ships are complex and Kirk/Spock has so much fantastic history behind it, I really loved getting into the heads of the Kris and Adam personas that I wrote - and I wrote a lot for them - plus, the music, man. Love the music.
What interests you about 15 (Katherine/Stefan)?
So much potential that the writers could explore (and hopefully they will). I don't 'ship it' because I don't want Stefan to end up in a relationship with Katherine or anyone like her, but I really want to see the borders and depths of Stefan's denial re: Katherine to be dug into and examined. Could make for a hell of a plotline.
Why did you stop liking 7 (Elena/Stefan)?
The show grew up but their relationship didn't. Stefan is making the exact same mistake with Elena now that he was making in the very early stages of their relationship (lying his ass off). There's been zero growth. It's static and boring, at this point.
Did your waning interest in 9 (Caroline/Matt) kill your interest in the show?
Goodness, no! Still adore the show. Just really hope that C/M isn't endgame.
What's a song that reminds you of 5 (Caroline/Stefan)?
"Defying Gravity" from Wicked. Just because the freedom of that song really speaks to Caroline's growth to me and I see Stefan as a character who has really supported Caroline in her discovery of that freedom.
If you could have any two of these pairings double date, who would it be?
Doctor/Rose and Lois/Clark. They could totally save the world (or a world, at least) together. It would be pretty fun.
Have 2 (Kirk/Spock) kissed yet?
No. They probably won't, either. Unfortunately.
Did 4 (Kris/Adam) have a happy ending? If the show hasn't ended yet, do you think a happy ending is likely?
Can real life have a happy ending? Get back to me in fifty or so years.
What would make you start shipping 14 (Caroline/Tyler)?
Tyler comes back and is awesome to Caroline and stops making the wrong choices about who to support, etc. Their kiss was pretty cute.
If only one could happen, which would you prefer, 2 (Kirk/Spock) or 6 (Lois/Clark)?
I'm pretty sure that Lois/Clark is a defining element of the universe. The universe exists, thus - Lois and Clark are in love. But Kirk and Spock are already so epic, so if they could actually have an acknowledged canonical relationship, that would be pretty ground-breaking. Tough call. I think I would go for K/S over L/S, I think, because there are already other strong example of human woman/male alien (on my list, even - *looks at Doctor/Rose*).
You have the power to decide the fate of 10 (Sam/Jack). What happens to them?
They go out on a date, realize that they didn't have chemistry after all, and peacefully become friends.
Which do you dislike the most?
Hermione/Ron, probably. It's violent (she attacks him with birds), unhealthy (he makes her cry), and it just... makes me sad that it's canon.
Which of these ships do you like the most?
Goodness. Despite adoring all of the ships in the top list... I'm going to go with Lois and Clark for the moment (they are so in love! And they kiss all the time! and... it's just happiness. Pure happiness).
