Boredom leads to productivity or lack thereof ...
All the bills are paid for January and my desk is cleaned and organized. All I need to do is make labels for the file folders. I hate that there's this much time between semesters ... two weeks is sufficient; this would make room for an extra 6 week semester. I feel useless right now. I can't work because I'm too swollen and have been since the ( Read more... ) -

Still no answer... But that doesn't necessarily mean rejection. I'm enjoying coffee and cartoons in bed with Maggie. She's saying the letters as I type.
Looking forward to regaining a normal body shape shortly! I'm uncomfortable, my back hurts and mommy and daddy are sex deprived. When I have dreams about it, it must be bad.

Yep 12 more days until Charlotte arrives. I'm still waiting on a response from grad school, the guy promised to call me Monday morning so we'll see. Paul is going to apply at the VA but that can sometimes take a year for the application process to be complete, but they would pay for all of his RN school and time off.

boring update
10 weeks and counting. This is scary. I suddenly realized that I won't be able to fall asleep when this baby does, I'll have the other baby to spend time with and care for. I get tired just thinking about it ( Read more... ) -

I don't know why, but this semester makes me more tired than all the others. When I think about the assignments I need to work on, I get utterly exhausted; the thought alone makes me tired! And I'm only taking three classes. The final three. Do all seven years count? Or just the ones in which I worked hard and really wanted to succeed? If so ( Read more... ) -

Papa was sick when we got home from Ohio and by the next morning we had to take him to the hospital. I won't go into details because it was very frustrating. He passed away Friday night ( Read more... ) -
Road Trip
The three of us left Monday morning and drove over 7 hours to get to Marietta, Ga. We went to the Georgia Aquarium and the Confederate Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in Georgia. I wish we could have stayed longer. They have the Civil War museum and the Gone with the Wind museum, not to mention tons of stuff to do in Atlanta. We're stopping on ( Read more... )
