Road Trip

The three of us left Monday morning and drove over 7 hours to get to Marietta, Ga. We went to the Georgia Aquarium and the Confederate Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in Georgia. I wish we could have stayed longer. They have the Civil War museum and the Gone with the Wind museum, not to mention tons of stuff to do in Atlanta. We're stopping on the way back at the CocaCola bottling company. At the aquarium we saw beluga whales, sea otters, penguins, and four different kinds of sharks, including whale sharks. Then we went on to Tennessee to visit my Aunt Becky and her family. The girls played with Maggie, and Maggie soaked up ALL the attention. The next day we finished our drive to Ohio. Maggie has been working so hard to say "Ohio," precious girl. All of us are together this time, like we were when we were kids, it's pretty awesome. And now most of us have our spouses, so it makes for a fun packed house. The boys had to roof yesterday with Uncle Jeff, but today they get to spend the day at the lake fishing and canoeing and more Risk games at home.

I'm so happy to be here, it's trip I've been waiting to take for years. I wish we had more time, but only two more nights, three days.

I would love to live here and go to OU right down the street (you walk there from their house). They have masters in literature and bachelors in nursing, so really it would be perfect. Maybe in two more years, who knows.
