Normally I don't like stuff on my feet, shoes, socks, blankets, don't want them at all. However on mornings like this there is NOTHING better than FUZZY SOCKS. My current ones are red and white striped, they look like something out of Cat in the Hat. Leave a comment

20 to go, but my new pants fit comfortably!!!

Weight Watchers is working better than I thought it would, and I cheat at least once a week. Almost six lbs in a month, which is healthy, I am actually really optimistic, more so than I have been in a LONG time.

Using his recipe I just made soft pretzels. They weren't THAT complicated, though it helped that I watched him do them on his show, and came out awesomely!! Because of the diet I can only eat one, but even that one was pretty filling ( Read more... )

I signed up for Weight Watchers Online today, so not going to meetings and such but trying to manage things myself doesn't seem to be working. I"m not putting on weight but I have about 20 lbs (25 ideally) to go and it's just not coming off. Maybe by having to write down everything I eat and seeing the caloric consequences will help ( Read more... )

Today I was at the local nursery getting stuff for my brand new yard and while I was looking at lime trees the wonderful lady showed me something new.  The tree had three types of oranges, lemons and limes all grafted in and growing on one tree!!  It's being delivered tomorrow!!!  So Damn Cool ( Read more... )

The floors are almost done, the cabinets are being installed right now.  Counters come hopefully tomorrow and the cabinets will be stained to match next week sometime.  The stairs will hopefully be done on Saturday along with the sink.  Then it's just my door and a few things in the back yard and my house is done ( Read more... )

My dog's surgery went well, he had a double 'Intraocular Prosthesis', which means basically he has fake innards in his eyes.  We've got loads of pills and instructions, he's got the funky collar on and he ate food like the end of the world was here ( Read more... )

Like I haven't done since I quite SOE, spent a ton of money, got sweet shoes, sunglasses and a purse (ok two) and I feel awesome.

Does make me happy I don't have to justify my expenditures to a significant other =)
