Yes, I live, but I do not Sim, at least I have not actually played in weeks, and it's been even longer since I've actually made something. I believe I have slipped somewhat unintentionally into Sim retirement. I have been playing Sims  2 for hmmm 4 yrs now? And Sims 1 for a short period before that. I've suddenly got a lot more time to work on my secret Santa. I got a call this morning from my contracting agency that I've been laid off. Can't say I'm surprised, they recently put all sorts of restrictions on contractors to reduce costs and with the economy, I wasn't terribly shocked.

It's Monday and cold and I don't feel like working, so let's babble on LJ a bit :P

I just got a phone call offering me a job, no interview, just an offer LOL. The mgr had seen my resume, talked to my old mgr and who knows who else, and told the recruiter my resume was the best he'd seen and to extend me an offer. :D I can work from home (mgr is in Austin) AND will be making $5 more than I was at my last job.
