We got in trouble once because we found a hilarious picture of a Lisa Frank bear laying belly down on a huge sundae. The bears eyes were like O_O, dilated as hell so we colored it in all tie dye, drew a bong in his hand, and labeled it "Marijuana Mocha Sundae". Damn, I know I've still got that feckin' thing somewhere :D

I always felt bad that Dawn made a nasty comment about her mom helping her buy her first bra when MA had the saleswoman help her. It was nice of Richard to be there, though.

I'm a total Richard groupie :) I love how he actually has character development and goes from an over protective hard ass to showing what a truly loving dad and person he can be. And I also love the fact he actually TELLS MA and the reader *why* he was such an over protective hard ass, and how it was rooted in insecurity in being a single dad wanting to raise the best girl he could. Not only believable, but not exactly unheard of or rare for that to happen.

I carried everything

We got lockers in 5th grade, and had them until graduation. The junior high lockers were horrible; they were tiny and narrow and had top compartments separate from the actual locker, and were cramped. Most days, someone got beaned in the head with a wayward book.

And yea, we were allowed to tape things to lockers using regular scotch tape. Gum? The hell kind of demon child tapes things to their lockers with gum? (don't answer because I think I did at some point in the 7th grade).

It always makes me so happy when I see new snarks from you! I actually saw these yesterday but I had to go get my orange soda (orange soda and Pepsi Throwback are my favorites!) and Twinkies so I could sit down and truly enjoy it... with a hedgehog in my lap and junk food by my side. Ahhh... BLISS.

Why are roughly 99.4% the UK covers terrifying?! Maryanne looks so unhappy, but you really can't blame her seeing as Logan looks like one of the mutants from the Wrong Turn series and he's all creeping on her. D: *shudders* And on the other cover, Jackie does indeed look like a girl. WTF cover artist?
