I don't think Jeff cared so much about the fire drill as he did climbing out the window because that probably sounded fun.

I hate the boring oh noez where we going to travel?! filler. It's such a boring rich person problem. (Dawn's family strikes me as rich if they can afford to send her across the country a million times, when they should really send her into a black hole.)

I don't know why but that cracked me up as a kid. That and the fact he rang the doorbell after getting out.

Dawn's worries over her grandparents kind of crack me up too because my parents' are so not the lovely-dovey type. Being
sarcastic, snarky and teasing each other is their way of showing affection.

It turns out Dawn’s parents aren’t going to make it.
So the lovey-dovey parents ended up in divorce, I wonder how many readers read this and were worried every time their
parents held hands or kissed in public.

My mind jumps to the gutter when I see the phrase pouring out love, especially since I was about to abbreviate the Big Dipper as BD or Big D and remembered what those could stand for.

Why couldn't Jeff have been around during those ridiculous scenes where the BSC members cry and rend their garments about being separated for ONE GODDAMN WEEK?
