Who has the new X3 trailer for me? I can't watch it on the official site on my work computer, since I don't have Quicktime. But I do have the VLC player, so if someone has somehow acquired a version...? PLEASE? Thanks, voleuse! SWEET. I'm psyched now.

I'm totally overwhelmed by the response to my last fic... thank you so much to everyone who ( Read more... )

Glass fucking houses, dude.

*snorts with laughter* Oh RDM. How I grow to dislike thee more and more each day.

Over at the Sci-fi board someone got a bootleg copy of the final two eps. Not only did they spill details, they posted numerous screencaps. After about three or four days of this, the guy got an e-mail from Ron telling him to stop spoiling the episodes. Of course, people then started mocking Ron for waiting until everything was revealed to step in. I guess spoilage is OK as long it's he and the cast controlling it. Who's "whiny" now? :p

In RDM's defense (and I can't believe I just typed those words and meant them), he might not have known until then. He might have been really busy and found out belatedly. I didn't realize there were bootleg copies out. Weak.

STILL. Still. RDM spoils the show ENORMOUSLY. And without even thinking about it. And all of his actors and freaking TV Guide do, too. I think he needs to take a step back and look at what he's created.

Defending Ron! What's next? Shipping Lee with Kara?! :p

I have a hard time buying him being ignorant at what was going on at the official site. Even if he doesn't check the boards himself, he seems to know everything that is being talked about. I just think he was pissed at the loss of control. No, it's not all about you Ron.

Oh, and did I see somewhere that RDM is frustrated at the amount of finale spoilers that have been leaked?

There were spoilers leaked? Wow, I know I've been working hard to avoid them, but my efforts have never been so successful. Now I feel left out of the loop because I may be one of the few who doesn't know how the season will end.

And hooray for baseball!! Now if only my team hadn't traded away two quality starters for three unimpressive right-handed relief pitchers...

Yeah, I've actually managed to avoid spoilers, myself (though I have heard several almost-spoilers), so I'm right there with you. I was just saying it's ironic that RDM is complaining about them being leaked, considering how cavalier he usually is about that kind of thing.

And hey. We have Jesse Foppert and Kevin Appier in camp, and Carl Everett under contract. That's not exactly inspirational.

Dude, there was absolutely no end to my amusement over Ron D. Moore getting pissed about spoilers. This is the same man who was once asked why he spoiled the episodes in the podcasts and his reply was essentially, "I dunno. I just do and I won't make any effort to stop." And then the way he complained IT'S A FREE COUNTRY, YOU KNOW, BUT LIKE I WOULDN'T HAVE TO HAVE TO BE LIKE OTHER STUDIOS AND LOCK EVERYTHING DOWN.

Bitch, plz.

Then, it gets even funnier when you know the spoilers, because it sheds more light on why he's so pissed.

It is incredibly annoying, because I hate the fact that I have to avert my eyes from every single BSG article EVER because he lets that shit happen, and yet he's suddenly horrified that people might know what's coming? Come on.
