WOOOOOOOOO FRIDAY. And I am SUPER-EXCITED today because my college BFF J. (along with her boyfriend--now her fiance, actually!) is getting in tonight for our annual Thanksgiving week-long festival of drinking cocktails and watching TV. She's going to be IN MY HOUSE for NINE DAYS and I will come home and she will just BE THERE, and it will be

Also, Ben Browder is beautiful and dorky and beaudorkiful. Fully half of those pics deserve macros. :) Also, do you think that Gigi knows she's my girlfriend?
Also *big hug* Thank you for everything. You deserve much more than stalagmatite poetry. Hi to J and her Sig and Mr. McK and especially to Dog McK. Who's a good boy? You are! Yes you are!

*DIES SO MUCH* YES. PERFECT.
And aww! I was actually just feeling guilty the other day because I feel like I haven't been able to do much for you in this, your time of woe and trial, so... I feel undeserving of stalactite poetry, as it happens! I AM sending you lots of good vibes, though, because I luuuuuuurve you and I am SO SORRY things are so hard for you right now. *pets you*

True. I can see how you should feel bad because you continue to choose not to make me the absolute centre of your universe and drop everything to cater to my every need. This really rankles. I hate you.
*noogie*
You're adorable. Don't ever change.
Besides, how could you have known I was under duress? I didn't use the DURESS PHRASE.

After months and months of being all "I do not like Adam Lambert" or "I am apathetic towards Adam Lambert"....um, so, I've gone and fallen in LOVE with the Adam Lambert CD. THIS IS NOT A DURESS PHRASE. It's all Erasure + BDSM. He got bondage in my queer pop music!
I continue to be oddly confused by Chabon's heterosexuality.

And... Chabon is heterosexual, really? Wow. That surprises me, too.

Wikipedia informs me that Chabon is married to novelist Ayelet Waldman . He even does a rather sappy "oh how I love my children" Americana column for some magazine. It might be Details, which makes the whole thing even more unexpectedly random. Which I always find strange, since all of his books seem to be queer coming of age novels. Sometime, I wonder if he has READ his own books.

Bones does pretty well for itself on Thursday nights, which I think means that a) millions of people like where the show is at and/or where it seems to be going, and b) at least another season is all but guaranteed. It's time to face the music on this issue, but not too soon. I think they draw out the dancing around each other for the whole season, which could be done plausibly given the personalities of the characters. Then they get together in the season finale, promising something new and fresh to affect the dynamic between all of the characters next season, without having to do anything that doesn't feel organic (e.g., adding a Chachi character or something). At least, that's how I'd do it.

Hi, my name is Carrie and I would like to cosign this entire statement! Because yes. TOTALLY DOING IT.
And I would have sent both Mollee and Karen packing before Channing, but WHATEVER, SHOW.

And, "I am just not that into DC anymore", certainly! Although someone has recently busted out with, "I think my desire to climb NFT like a tree has accidentallied my love of Dave", which, while stressful, I do kind of get.
