My sleep schedule's all messed up again so today has more of a 'no idea what day it is' feel.

LEVERAGE! I love Parker and her weirdness so very, very much. Eliot's "I'd like to see you do an accent" = GLEE As does hugging it out *g* (Though I admit I'm a little confused by Sophie's reaction to Nate's call - was she actually mad at him, or just tired of phone calls?)

*day 3 of announcing I need a leverage icon and failing to get one*

Awww. *pets you*

HUGGING IT OUT. THAT WAS SO AMAZING. Christian Kane was THISCLOSE to cracking up, too. EEEEEEE. (I love how they all SUCK SO HARD at pretending they don't adore each other. It is MY FAVORITE THING.)

I think Sophie was tired of Nate's emotional fuckwittery, as am I. Would a "we miss you" have killed you, Nate? SIGH. But that was how I read it--she was cautiously optimistic when he called, and then disappointed that he didn't ask her to come back, or express that they missed her, or anything. (Which, I will grant you, is kind of unfair given that SHE was the one who rejected HIM before she left. IDK, the Nate/Sophie thing has rarely pinged for me, so mostly I just handwave it. Heh.)

Okay, yeah. I can buy that since I'm also in the 'as am I' camp :p They don't really ping for me all that much either, but eh. I thought Jack/Ianto came out of nowhere, so I'm clearly not one to judge!

P.S. There are some pretty Leverage icons here, if that helps! Though they're all from S1; I've had that bookmark for a while.

I know, the quality could be better, and believe it or not, that's actually one of the better ones I've heard. I spent a while searching YT the other night, and I found one with scorching hot video, but the audio sounds like it's underwater. In a car going 75 with the windows partially down. It's not good. So sad! Finding a good audio/video combo of that would MAKE MY LIFE.

Anyway. I LIKE THE COVERS, TOO. Do you want stuff from when he was on Idol (where you get either a brutally-cut-down live version or an overproduced studio version), or just live stuff he's done since? In the latter category, there's Livin' On a Prayer, Little Lies (Fleetwood Mac), I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight, Man in the Box (Alice in Chains), Creep (Radiohead), and The World I Know (Collective Soul). Oh, and a duet of Go Your Own Way with Carrie Underwood. And I think that's it. Any of those strike your fancy? (If you want the Idol stuff, I can point you toward that, too.)

Funny, that is EXACTLY the vibe I get from David Cook! ;)

Okay, I feel sort of like I'm taking my David Cook doll and my Hugh Dillon doll and making them kiss.

HEEEEEEEEEEEE. that IS what you are doing! i laughed and laughed at this, BUT it is ALSO true they'd completely DIG one another. HONESTLY. as i said, where's THAT fic?

ION: no leverage in my life yet! itunes gave it to me with no sound. *cries*

I'm sure that Cook would dig Hugh (though I suppose that's not saying much, because evidence indicates that DAMN NEAR EVERYONE digs Hugh). I can't quite figure out what Hugh would think of Cook (not that I think he'd dislike him, because how could you? but just because there's such a vast experience gap between them), but man, the banter would be AWESOME. *g*

OH NOES NO SOUND. Did you find it yet? They usually have them up on the TNT website, don't they?

(Also, re: your icon: OH TO BE A MICROPHONE. Holy caressing, batman.)

the banter would be EPIC. i do think hugh would GET where cook was coming from, once he got past the whole american idol thing, don't you?

and NOOOOOOOOOOOO, don't have it yet! ITUNES FAIL. the TNT website doesn't like macs, or i woulda watched it there ages ago.

(microphones get ALL the fun, yes.)

I would assume so, yeah? I mean, they are both RIDICULOUSLY LIKEABLE guys, and obviously have a lot in common. ROAD STORIES. That would be awesome.

(Speaking of road stories, do you follow Neal and/or Andy on Twitter? There have been amusing shenanigans today. Also, randomly, a Cook quote I ran across last night [paraphrased]: "It's amazing what forgetting to shave will do for you. But unintentional cougar bait is still cougar bait, so it's all good." *DIES SO MUCH*)

BOO, TNT, YOU WHORE. Do you want some assistance, or are you going to wait for iTunes to figure its shit out?

HEEEEEE. I SUSPECT YOU MAY BE RIGHT. But who knows, I think Hardison can probably be pretty persuasive! (Unless he's trying to persuade Eliot to hug him, I suppose. Heeeee.)

I'm going to believe them when they say that Aldis did that horrible accent on purpose- I loved when he called Sophie, and Sophie's all "And what is going on with your voice?"

ALSO: Beth RULES SO MUCH. She was all sorts of hot, first in the little outfits, but more so in super-competent cat burglar mode. And I love how much Eliot was impressed with her - Their OT3 fondness for each other is made of endless joy! And the phone call to Sophie! It makes me so happy that they are buddies!

Also \Cook/

(everyone should listen to the Headstones. This is a rule that I have just made up.)

I looooooooooooooooooooooooved the phone calls to Sophie, and especially the Parker/Sophie one. Their connection is so fascinating, and I appreciate SO MUCH that this show passes the Bechdel test with a fair degree of regularity! \o/

YES. *inscribes said rule on all inscribables*

(*extra hugs*)
