Help me out here:
Poll Is it just me? SO. LEVERAGE LAST NIGHT. I love that this show ships my OT3 as much as I do! ♥ ♥ ♥ Also, I love
what they've done with Sophie this season. I'm not sure if it's a result of Gina Bellman's pregnancy or if it's just a happy coincidence, but the way her role has changed this season has required them to change up a few things about the dynamic, and I really really enjoy that. And last night, seeing her integration into the team via her absence, was really fascinating. And of course I always love when they switch roles. Also? BETH REISGRAF RULES. Also also? Eliot claiming he was going to refuse to help Hardison was ALMOST as adorable as their apparent-fistfight-but-actually-verbal-fight. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Also also also, Aldis, your accent was horrendous, but I still adore you. <333333333333
So clearly there needs to be picspam on this theme soon, but in case you wanted some evidence of David Cook's ongoing campaign to kill me:
(I stole this image from
yeats, BTW, so all credit to her for finding it and helping to ruin my life some more.) What am I going to do with you, Cook? So very, very many things spring to mind...
Also, I am kind of obsessed right now with how Cook and the boys would totally dig the Headstones. THEY TOTALLY WOULD. And I feel like this should really happen, for great justice, but the problem I have (well, besides the obvious "how to convey this sentiment without being creepy" problem) is the problem I always have when trying to pimp people into the Headstones: "Hey, you should check out this band! Their albums are really hard to find in the US! But you should check them out!" Sigh. (Okay, I feel sort of like I'm taking my David Cook doll and my Hugh Dillon doll and making them kiss. But SERIOUSLY. I WOULD BET MONEY ON THIS ISSUE.)
Here, have an mp3, to stream or download at your convenience:
Hot For Teacher I feel sort of guilty that so far I've only shared/linked to covers of Cook's, because I really DO like his music, but. I also really REALLY appreciate his dedication to 80's covers, and this one is kind of epic. It's dirty-hot and fun and his scream on "class dismissed" makes me go *__* every time, and Neal gets to open up the throttle a bit on the guitar solo, and it's good times. I RECOMMEND IT.
J. will be here tonight! I AM PSYCHED.
