Yet another tariff slapped upon Canada by the USA. This time it's on our wheat exports: apparently we're dumping. It is widely known that the United States government subsidizes its farmers far more heavily than the Canadian government does - indeed, our farmers are always complaining of the fact, saying that they are at a disadvantage. Several angry letters appeared in the University newspaper in response to the graphic anti-abortion displays last week. With one exception, they were quite heated and irate. I was impressed by that one exception, however, and in particular by the following statement:
