Oh, undoubtedly. I think the whole thing is political. I'm beginning to think most things are.

There are reports in Singapore's papers about how the States wants to 'punish' countries that did not support them in the Iraq war. Of course France tops that list, and I read that Canada is one of the countries picked, but definitely to a lesser extent.

It makes me wonder why the States still view themselves as the epitome of freedom, when they expect the rest of the world to agree with everything they do and say.

In many ways, yes. Sadly. Although, I guess considering the alternatives, it's not so bad. I imagine when America stops being the greatest, wheat tariffs will be the least of our concerns.
