This past week has had a wonderful "camp" feel to it. Sure, helping new students move in is serious business, but when you factor in things like board games, walkie-talkies, donuts, movies, hanging out, rainbow pens and meeting loads of different, interesting people, the mix becomes pretty spectacular ( Read more... )

I'm so excited about moving in! Today I started packing, so everything is becoming all the more real to me. Right now all of my stuff is sitting in a semi-orderly pile on the edge of my room, and I keep thinking that it all looks so insignificant. Today I had a really nice day! This morning Jessica Be. and I looked around downtown San Jose and then took buses to 2 nearby towns (well, they were about an hour away).
