Guinness died about half an hour ago. During surgery they found metasasized tumors on his aorta, probably from his gallbladder, as well as hepatic lipidosis, which we thought was the problem. Guinness is sick again.  He hasn't eaten in the last couple days.  Luckily he's been drinking and today I went and bought him super-expensive wet food that's meant to be treats (Fancy Feast Appetizers if you're curious) and he slurped up the broth and ate about half of the meat.  He's favoring the left side of his mouth so I'm pretty sure it's his ( Read more... )

AKJFDL:JFD:SKLFDJS BEST NEWS EVAR.  The vet called this morning and said Guinness ate ALL of his food last night and this morning.  ON HIS OWN.

I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY.

No biopsy.  No feeding tube.  Assuming he continues improving.
