Not again

Guinness is sick again.  He hasn't eaten in the last couple days.  Luckily he's been drinking and today I went and bought him super-expensive wet food that's meant to be treats (Fancy Feast Appetizers if you're curious) and he slurped up the broth and ate about half of the meat.  He's favoring the left side of his mouth so I'm pretty sure it's his

It does sound like something is bothering him, like his teeth or gums perhaps..maybe he has a sore.
The most important thing is he is taking water and trying to eat, that is always a good sign. Once a cat stops eating they can go into liver failure....tuna is always a safe bet as well, they love the juice and its cheap. Good luck! I'm sure he will be fine...thinking positive thoughts for you. *hugs*

I second tuna/tinned fish as a good way to get sick cats to eat. When my cat Mittens got cat flu REALLY bad and we thought he was going to die, we got him to eat tinned fish. We had to heat it up and it REEKED, but he ate it and got better.
