Good luck with all the food! I'm having Thanksgiving here in our new apartment in 2 weeks. I found some big turkeys here in Norrtälje! I shall also spend way too much at Gray's. I hadn't even thought about wine. They're going to want wine. I get spazzy when I plan dinners. I'm having a Texas-themed dinner tonight for some friends so I'm spazzy today and shall remain so for a while. But anyway, good luck!

oh, how FUN! Have a wonderful time!! I just asked the kids what turkeys say in Swedish, and Martin told me they don't say anything because they don't have them here. And then he said they say "gobbla gobbla" and laughed like a loon.

On one website I found Danish "klukka klukka" but no Swedish anywhere.

Do you have two ovens for the two turkeys? I'm wondering how to tackle two birds when we do our Thanksgiving in two weeks.

I did one turkey the day before and the other the day of. That way I had ready-sliced meat AND a nice brown whole bird on the table. It worked out great that way.

Sounds like fun! And a whole lot of work. The pumpkin pie should be easy to make. It's the crust that's killer (for me anyway).

The pie turned out great. And I let Björn's father's companion do the crust - I'm light years away from anything that advanced!
