You think you're going nuts? How do you think I feel with a limit of 3 icons? :P

I put up with them for the duration of the event, and then try to get away as politely as possible.  I try to keep in mind that they're people, like I am, and wouldn't want to be treated crappishly.

And hooopefully they get the hint.

Oh, I'm not mean. I'm just not as nice as usual. And given that I'm often "too nice", that's not horrible treatment. ;)

I'm thinking specifically of an idjit or two in my gaming group, and a few annoying students here.

i've been thinking about friendship a LOT lately. i might need to steal this and elaborate on it. ;)

hrm...boring...usually the boring f-o-f i've known were just passive, so i didn't have to deal with them much. if a person is talking to me, i guess i have a high tolerance for boredom. i can also eat most cafeteria food. hrm...

Feel free to look through my "friend" memories. They provide some interesting perspective.

Unfortunately, I seem to encounter the talkative boring people. *sigh*

*giggles* now i'm wondering if, in person, *I'M* one of those talkative boring people. :D

I know I can be boring if people don't care about my interests. But as I get bored by some things that people talk about, it all evens out. We just find people who find enough of the same things interesting and enough different things interesting that we maintain conversation. :D

oooh... boring friends of friends. oh how I know that problem. I go with agressively ignoring them...

Aggressive ignoring, yessss.... *steeples fingers* Send them to Coventry, or rather the closest possible conversational state that isn't active rudeness.

Nah, the Benevolent Dictator Lydia always needs more manual laborers to improve her beloved homeland, Yakutsk and its subsidiary Irkutsk. *quotes college friend's Risk strategy*

Or Wyoming. No one lives there anyways. Have you ever known someone from Wyoming? It's a black hole. Or maybe just a blank spot appropriate for freestate. Square states are weird like that. *quotes partially from another college friend*
