Laid off

Yep, I got laid off today.

But I also got offered six weeks of severance pay. Which is way more than I expected (I didn’t get any severance when I got laid off from L’Office. Of course, they were also going out of business where The Place is still flush from their most recent Venture Capital funding round…). And I can file for unemployment. So

Sorry you got laid off. But,6 weeks is pretty good. I didn't get that much at the place where I had worked 6 years...
