Laid off
Yep, I got laid off today.
But I also got offered six weeks of severance pay. Which is way more than I expected (I didn’t get any severance when I got laid off from L’Office. Of course, they were also going out of business where The Place is still flush from their most recent Venture Capital funding round…). And I can file for unemployment. So this feels like a win to me. I get out of a job that wasn’t a great fit, I don't have to ride the bus into Boston anymore, and I get paid for it. Go me!
And oh hey, that means I’m free for lunch on Thursday if anyone wants the gory details in person.
More when I’m done processing it. I kinda feel like I need a nap right now. =P
