Annual Physical

I had my annual physical today.

Still have a pulse.

Blood pressure is 124/78. (Still normal)

I'm still kicking.

And my doctor has gone from having black hair to being a blonde! Quelle surprise!

Yay for a good physical! Just don't forget the annual "lady parts" exams. The sister-in-law passed away at the end of March because she never went back to the Dr. after her first suspicious result.

Yeah, had a Pap too and scheduled a mammogram for next month.

I'm sorry for your loss. It's sad when people are too afraid to get preventive medical care. I have a friend whose whole family refuses to go to the doctor or the hospital because "people go to the hospital to die." Well yeah, if they wait to go until they're dying.... =(

Thanks for the kind words. She decided early on that she would just take St. Johns wort and some other herbal concoction. Her Dad wouldn't go to the Doctor either, so that didn't help. Thanks again...it was hard at times, but she's better off now..no more pain.
