It is not just crafters. I know a singing duo that often performs Disney songs without permission.
One of these days, the Mouse is going to smack them down...

I keep waiting for Michael Jackson's estate to discover that unlicensed use of Thriller video with the zombies that a certain renn faire has done the past couple of years for Halloween.

The big thing is for people just not to buy from these people. When I thought someone was making things and it was just a hobby (under $600 year) I didn't give it a thought, but I try not to buy anything that would be considered bootleg from a company, just as I would not want my photos bootlegged. The BBC may not jump the pond for some things, but the Mouse has been known to go after a dime... especially since they like to copyright everything...including other culture's holidays.
