Oh gods. I just got an e-mail notification from Facebook. Next year's ReenactorFest will include outdoors encampments. Outdoors. In February. Near Chicago.

I'm shivering just thinking about it!

I suspect, unless the weather is unseasonably balmy, that I may "forget" to visit the outdoor exhibits. Brrrrrrrr.

I'll honestly be surprised if many groups choose to set up outdoors rather than indoors.

Someone suggested we have a cooking competition, which seems to be what kicked off this whole discussion. Personally, one of the reasons why I like this event is that it is INDOORS. I have no desire to go traipsing around outside in February!
