Something finished

So, I graduated today.

I now have a very nice, creamy, thick, watermarked piece of paper certifying that the Continuing Education Board of Oxford University has determined my exam results are up to snuff.  That's basically how they put it, which makes sense when you consider the way most of Oxford works--basically, your entire grade is based on your ( Read more... )

We started during Hilary Term 2005, and they finished evaluating us during Hilary Term 2007. Hilary runs from January 1 to March 10, so they're simply having us graduate at the end of a normal Oxford term.

(Yes, Oxford is arcane. That's part of why it's cool.)

Even if I get a Mac (which I think I will-you get more from then than the equivalent System76), I'm putting Boot Camp on it and installing Ubuntu. So even if it's a Mac on the outside, it'll have Tux on the inside.
