The put me in a new unit on monday. It sucks because everyone there is new to that unit so no one in charge knows anybody or what is going on. FREEDOM IS NEAR!!!!!

The army has approved my medical discharge and I should be home by October!!! I demand celebration!!!

Wow. Been a while since I updated. A lot has happened since then. To start, the skin graft went well. Its not a pretty sight but it works. Sadly I lost all feeling along the left side of my calf and the top of my foot. The doctors have told me it is permanent and will never return. I walk okay, but running is out of the question. I hate that whenever I get around to updating this thing that I'm always messed up. This time more so than before. 2 months and some change back I had surgery done to remove tumor from my left leg. It was simple and the tumor was benign. The Doc did notice a small tear in my muscle tissue which he said a was a small hernia(sp) and nothing to worry ( Read more... )

Well it s time to go to the field once again. On monday I get to go brave the freezing Kansas wilderness for a week. Fun! Spent all week busting my ass preparing and now I'm paying the price. Surgery on my leg went well. The tumor was removed and was benign. Turned out I also had a hernia in the same location too, which is why it was so painful. Have a week off and percocets. Haven't seen the wound yet, but I imagine there will be a nasty scar. Hurts like hell, even after taking percs.

If I say anymore I face possible imprisonment. Those who know me can figure it out.

Apparently the results of the ultrasound on my leg aren't that good. The doc told me I have to make an appointment to get a tissue sample and said that my problem is either "very bad or very good".
