The latest edition of Edge magazine has covered, in brief, the broadcast of Charlie Brooker's Gameswipe on BBC4 a few weeks back. They took particular exeption to the fact that it explained what each genre was and seemed more of an introduction to those new to gaming rather than a reflection of its core audience. I'm still playing Arkham Asylum even after finishing it a few weeks ago. The Joker is gone, Poison Ivy is back in her cell and there are only a few random nutters wandering around. I am wandering around an island bored out of my skull. The locals just seem intent on telling me snippets about pirates and some ghost fellow who had a relationship with the island's female governor that went wrong. I'm holding a chicken with a pulley in the middle and I'm not having fun.
