Author’s Note: Diana isn’t in Smallville continuity, so that left me some leeway as to how I saw her. Most of the characters in the SV ‘verse are harder-edged than their comics or ‘toon counterparts, and Diana has that bit of an edge here.

here. Zatanna smiled as she welcomed her guests: the Amazon Princess and her boyfriend, the Air Force Major.
Zatanna was wearing a sparkling black evening gown, her long, dark hair flowing over her shoulders. She wore a silver choker with a finely-cut emerald and matching ring, directing Diana and Steve to the living room.
“Ollie, dear, our guests are here.”
Oliver Queen came in from the kitchen, dressed in a dark-green jacket and tan pants. His white shirt was crisp and of the softest material.
“Hello. It’s quite an honor.”
Diana smiled. “Thank you, Oliver.” She was resplendent in a shimmering red gown with golden threads running through it. A diamond necklace sparkled at her throat, gold sheathing her Amazon bracelets.
Steve wore a three-piece dark-blue suit and white shirt, escorting Diana to a seat on the couch.
“Oliver, darling, will you serve the hors d’oeuvres?”
“Right away, m’lady.”
Zatanna smiled. She swept into the living room, a trail of sparkles behind her.
Diana patted the cushion next to her. “Sit, Beloved.”
“Your wish is my command, Princess.”
Zatanna laughed. “Delightful.” She sat in a chair opposite the couch, the coffee table between them.
Zatanna studied the woman in front of her. She was almost a mirror image: long, dark hair, regal bearing, and a dominant personality.
She really liked the Amazon Princess.
Ollie appeared with a tray of crackers and cheese. “Would you like some wine?”
“Yes, please.” Diana squeezed Steve’s hand.
Even their boyfriends matched: blond, beautiful, and loving.
And collared.
The shirt collar was open and partially showed Steve’s band of submission, black leather with red, yellow, white, and blue jewels. Ollie’s was in plain sight, black leather studded with emeralds.
Ollie sat next to her after bringing the wine. “Dinner will be ready in fifteen minutes.”
Zatanna squeezed his hand. “Wonderful, darling.”
He smiled, mischief dancing in green eyes.
Zatanna turned her attention, noticing Diana’s look of approval. She inclined her head slightly, Diana immediately reading her acceptance and her own approval of Diana’s choice.
Yes, very much alike. Strong-willed and ready to take command. This woman understood magic and the ways of it, of immortality and other realms beyond the mortal world.
And their tastes in pets were the same: gorgeous, blond, and eager to serve.
Zatanna listened raptly to Diana’s tale of the contest that had brought her to America. The Amazon’s hand closed over her pilot’s as she spoke.
Most people would not understand. They would view both men as weak, spineless, unmanly for willingly submitting to women. They could not fathom how Ollie or Steve could wear a collar and submit.
Most people would never understand that men like their mutual blonds were strong, dynamic and equals in the ways that mattered.
She smiled.
“And I know when I first laid eyes upon Steve, he would be mine to love and care for.”
Diana lifted their joined hands and kissed Steve’s fingers, his look of amused adoration a lovely sight to behold.
Zatanna turned to see Ollie smiling approvingly. Her wealthy businessman-secretly-superhero was near and dear to her heart, just as Diana’s Air Force pilot was to her. She stroked the back of Ollie’s neck and shoulders, his eyes closing briefly. She liked the soft leather that marked her ownership.
“Ah, dinner is ready. I’d better go see to it.” Ollie stood.
Steve turned and wordlessly asked Diana’s permission. She nodded, squeezing his hand.
Steve stood also and said, “I’ll help.”
Ollie clapped him on the back. “Glad to have you.”
The two disappeared into the kitchen.
Diana sipped her wine. “Such lovely gentlemen. They already act as if they’re old friends.”
“That’s a good thing.”
Diana smiled. “Yes.” She inclined her head. “Thank you for inviting me. It gives me a chance to hear Oliver out on his Justice League.”
“Ah, yes, he’s eager to recruit you.”
“As he should.” Diana’s pride could be said to be haughty but Zatanna recognized it for what it was: a statement of fact about her Amazon abilities. False modesty was unbecoming a Warrior Princess of the blood. “I have met the others, and am intrigued.”
“They have a good line-up.” Zatanna picked up a sesame seed cracker from the plate on the coffee table. “Aquaman, Impulse, Black Canary, Green Arrow…and Superman and Batman.”
“Very intriguing.” Zatanna’s violet eyes sparkled. “Clark and I know each other well. I’ve met Bruce. Interesting man.”
Diana smiled. “A good description of the Prince of Gotham.”
Zatanna laughed. “A good match for you, Princess.”
“Oh, I’m quite pleased with my current match.”
Zatanna nodded. “He seems quite respectful.”
Diana’s eyes glittered. “Very much so.”
“Do you think that either Clark or Bruce could fill that role?”
“I think that Clark could fill it nicely for Bruce.”
Zatanna leaned forward. “I felt the same way. Which is best. Someone with Clark’s powers should be a submissive. A Dom with such powers would be a dangerous thing.”
Diana crossed her legs. “And as for Bruce, it’s just as well that he has the dominating personality. He needs it as a non-powered hero.”
“Exactly.” Zatanna smiled. “I believe that you could still dominate them all, Princess.”
“Oh, but the League is a cooperative effort.”
“So it is.”
“Will you be joining?”
“Not yet. I have more studying to do before I feel ready.”
Diana nodded. “Rigorous training is necessary.”
“In all things?”
Diana smiled wolfishly.

Ollie set the roast on the platter, Steve putting the baby red potatoes and mixed vegetables into bowls.
“This is nice, family-style,” Steve said.
“Zee likes to mix things up. Gowns, hors d’ oeuvres, and roast beef.”
Steve laughed. “She’s quite a woman.”
“Oh, yes.” Ollie garnished the platter with parsley and other greens. “What’s it like dating an Amazon?”
“It’s amazing,” Steve smirked.
Ollie grinned. He felt very comfortable with Steve.
Maybe it was because of what they shared: the love of two very special women.
Ollie caught sight of Steve’s collar and wondered if it was an ancient collar or something newer.
“So how is it dating a magician?” Steve asked.
“It’s never dull. How is it dating an Amazon?”
Steve’s grin was almost incandescent. “It’s more than dating.”
Ollie and Steve exchanged looks of perfect understanding.
“I needed someone like her in my life,” Ollie said quietly as he continued arranging the greens. “I was in a very dark place. I was…doing things I didn’t like, becoming someone I didn’t recognize.” Ollie looked down at the platter. “And then along came Zee: beautiful, sweet…demanding. She demanded the best from me, centered me, saved me.”
Steve nodded thoughtfully.
“And you?”
The pilot smiled. “When I first opened my eyes after my plane crashed, I looked into the eyes of an Angel, and I knew.”
Ollie smiled.
As they picked up the platter and bowls to bring into the dining room, Steve added, “The Amazons believe in Loving Submission.”
Ollie laughed. “Really? Well, that’s very interesting.” His emerald eyes sparkled. “Nothing like your lady’s people encoding it as part of their philosophy, eh?” He headed for the door. “Help me put the full-court press on your lady for joining the League, will you, Steve? Superman and Batman just joined, Black Canary needs a BFF.”
Steve laughed and followed Ollie out the door.

“Dinner is served, ladies,” Ollie announced as he set the steaming platter on the table.
“Thank you, my dear,” Zatanna said as she and Diana rose. At the table, Steve and Ollie held out their chairs.
As Zatanna sat down, Ollie leaned over and said, “Anything for my Mistress of Magic.”
Zatanna smiled serenely and Diana matched her, both women supremely satisfied…
…and so were their men.
