ANYWAY. Let's get to iiit.
Taro: I could see that Taro was one of the stronger characters right from the beginning of the game. I liked his backstory with having the big family and allll; I loved his family dynamics in general. There were a lot of elements to Taro, which I dunno, kiiind of made it confusing at times, but I do feel that it all sort of contributed to his character in the end. The loss of Yuuka, his monophobia, his relationship with Kouji--they were all written excellently. That's not to say that Taro was without faults, though. There was a mid-game slump, which culminated with the whole Kiku-Kaz-Aki-Taro meetup, which imo no one left looking good. Emi: I’ll honestly admit that at first, I wasn’t as hot for her as some of the others were, my vote in the Emi vs Mimiko/Aiko told so. But, ever after Keisuke’s death I’ve grown more and more attached to her and I can safely say that by now, I can sympathize with her decisions and feel like I know Emi. And if you get me to change my mind from being underwhelmed to really liking and feeling for your character with just a few posts, you’re good.
Taro: If there’s any character in v9 that’s had that typical Program-journey, it has to be Taro. We’ve seen so many different sides of him, both good and bad and while not all as equally successful as some others, I think it made Taro into a very interesting character.
I’m submitting a long and incredibly critical list of pros and cons because otherwise I just won’t have a clue who to vote for.
