We went to the Frying Pan Park visitor's center in Herndon. No real wait, plenty of friendly people about. 4 machines standing around, unused, everyone got a paper ballot to shove in the scantron. Well done.

I vote at Hayfield secondary school. The lines were long, unless your last name started in teh S-Z rang, then you got to walk right up! It took me an hour and 15 minutes to vote. Everyone seemed to want to go for the electronic machines, which had a wait. I did a paper ballot and zipped right through! I did not see unfriendly or untrained people at my polling location, however. They were just a little slow.

no problems reported from friends voting in manassas, dumfries, woodbridge or fredericksburg. in fact, all people i've spoken to that voted in these places said that they didn't even have to wait in line too long.
