Irony: Putting all your energy into making memories to keep for your entire life, and then being tormented by the very memories that were supposed to keep you company.

I'm not looking for guarantees. It is rare to find anything in this life that is certain and permanent. I know this, and in a strange way, I almost prefer it. Life has taught me many, many times not to count on something becuase it can be gone so quickly. Of course, I'm sure it's taught us all the same lesson.
