Hastings the hamster passed away some time on Easter Sunday. He added a fluffy warmth to our home for a little under three years, which is a pretty good run for a hamster.

On Sunday, April 17, 2005, my wife and I were sightseeing in/around Niles, MI in our newish Toyota Prius. (Niles is in the southwest corner of Michigan, less than 20 miles from Lake Michigan and the Indiana border.) Toyota salesperson called. "Your car should be here on November 5 or 6. Can you come in to fill out some paperwork so that everything goes smoothly when it arrives?"

Can I? Hell yes.

Our Toyota salesperson called today. "2-3 more weeks", he says.
Considering that it's been a week and a half since he said, "3-6 weeks", it looks like we're making progress.
Really getting to be time to fix the garage door...
