A story idea that won't leave me alone
It's about a hard-working woman in her 20's, single, financially independent, living in an apartment in a kind of Chinatown in New York, an orphan, a butcher, a bad/misguided/misunderstood man and a long-lost father. I'll post it here once it's all figured out. -
Do I need or want this journal?
I'm thinking of deleting it. Got nothing to put in here anymore. -
I HATE the apparent stereotype that women are good receptionists and customer service reps.
This mis-fact has at least part of its roots in something someone said some years ago when telephone systems were first put into businesses, that women have the patience and basic personality type that would make them more efficient at dealing with receptionist duties than men. Of course I'm still looking for work.
But I don't want to mention the spammy junky jobs anymore. (Sigh) I don't get a lot of legitimate offers. There are people who are looking out for offers for me though, which is good. -
