I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.

It had some unexpectedness though )

I enjoyed this one, too. In fact, I'm enjoying this season quite a lot! I've never been a big ED-as-Lois fan, but she really was brilliant in this episode. I felt the same way you did, so impressed with her portayal of Faora. It was my favorite part of the ep.

Yay! Yeah, she really 'brought it' as an actress, and I don't think that was an easy character to portray--it could go into caricature so easily. But she was mesmerising.

I totally love your review! I agree with all of it! It's awesome. :D

They actually gave a valid reason for Kara's disappearance and I do believe her story got good closure. :)

I loved the Clois so much! :D

That's what Clark hasn't learnt to factor in with Lois--the fact that telling her to run away just won't work a lot of the time because she thinks it's her job to save him.

Totally! Like at the end of 'Identity', when she claimed to be protecting him ... I thought it was adorable and hilarious at the same time!

And now let us marvel at Erica's acting. She was AMAAAAAAAAZING as Faora. I absolutely stopped thinking about her as 'Lois'. For sure! Like Tom played Bizarro and Clark differently, she did a wonderful job in distinguishing between Lois and Faora. And looked hot doing it. I LOVED her hair and outfit. :D ( ... )

Yes, they repaired a gaping hole in the show's plot--I'm really pleased about that, and it was done in an interesting way.

Oh yeah! She looked amAZing! She was clearly an older woman in a young woman's body--that came through really clearly in both manner and appearance.

I ADORE Oliver! He cracks me up. I feel bad that he clearly has no home, since his penthouse is like the Ace of Clubs now.
Oh, yes, he's SO funny. Justin is a great comedic actor. And I agree--poor Ollie. I feel sad that all his scenes are in the plane. He's got no home base!

He so doesn't care about Clark's heritage and he gets major points for that one. It's like he's the only one. :D
Yeah, I find it really refreshing. It's like he's honest enough to admit that it freaks him out and he'd rather not deal with it. He also respects Clark enough to believe that's ok--his best friends don't need to be ( ... )

I think she knows something. I'm pretty sure of it, actually. At the very least, it's probably heightened her subconscious awareness of their being 'something' about Clark. I really did get the feeling she was fooling Clark and I only not mentioned it because I figure we'll see more follow-up on that in the eps to come. At least that's what I assumed!

Hahaha, but it happens so rarely. So yeah, could be never mentioned again. ;P

I feel like they've at least introduced the element of choice to his arc.
Oh, that's interesting. I didn't get that sense, to be honest. I think the last scene played really ambiguously to me--I thought maybe it had kind of 'turned' him once and for all? I guess if we see him wandering around and being normal again next week then that will be debunked and yes, in that case it will be interesting to see what decisions he makes in light of the information he now has. I do hope it plays out that way.

If both (a) and (b) are true, then Tess isn't on Clark's side and further more, she should know that Clark would think that as well.Oh, but I rather thought she was implying to Clark that she's not as loyal to Lex. *We've* seen her behind the scenes loyalty but he hasn't, and she was suggesting that she might make a different decision to Lex. I think we will see her try a different tack, but I'm fine with her on this one for now because I think that's the sort of argument that doesn't work immediately, and Tess knows that. That's why ( ... )
