I am so tired right now. Physically and emotionally.

Thursday will be my day to sleep in, veg out, and dance my ass off. Probably in that order.

So, here I am, on a Saturday afternoon. Right now, I don't much care about anything. I'm kind of numb.

This is my one day off this weekend. I just spent two hours watching Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, laughing my ass off. I should have spent that time online, reading articles for my courses. Or doing dishes. Or updating my resume on Monster and ( Read more... )

Work was, well, not as hideous as I had feared it might be. Got another new temp today, and two are finishing up tomorrow and being replaced by two more new ones on Wednesday. At least they all have certain minimal levels of brain function, and are at least partially trainable ( Read more... )

The forklifts in our plant are propane-powered so, naturally, they tend to belch out propane at times.

I happily exclaim at 5:00am, "I love the smell of propane in the morning!"
Everyone around me just looks at me like I've grown a third head.

None of 'em get the reference. Not a single one.
Holy hell. Shoot me now.

Got to spend some quality time with the staff occupational nurse this morning. After about one hour of painting styrofoam with nasty green glue, I realized that I was feeling a little *too* happy.
