So, now less than 12 hours before I get attacked by some techie with the business end of an ultrasound machine. Somehow I'm managing to stay sane (relatively) during all this damned waiting. Here's hoping that the ultrasound Friday morning gives *somebody* an answer to *some question*. Not that I'll know anything until sometime the following week, but it's guaranteed I'll be watching the screen and the tech's face throughout the entire procedure ( Read more... )

eniastoa called me while I was at Das Plex, and told me that some doctor's office had called and said they have an opening for me tomorrow at 3:00pm. Having never heard of this doctor before, he thought it might be the hemotologist I was being referred to, and thought that I should investigate ( Read more... )

So, I visit my doctor's office to find out if there were any results from my latest test.

He tells me, "Well, if a doctor says something is interesting, that means you're going to die. Right now, we're just curious."

Ooh, that makes me feel so much better!
