So, the subject line of this post is an open invitation. I know that. I've been vainly trying to keep my feet on the ground as I am buffeted by, well, chaos. At this point, I really think I'm ready to just jump off the cliff and see where these wings will take me

I saw your raven yesterday. ...or, I saw a raven, who may or may not have been the raven who paid you a visit the other day. According to Vilmos, there's a pair of them nesting a little south of the city along the Hanlon.

At any rate, I saw him/her, and thought of you.

Y'know, I'm almost afraid to look up tomorrow while I'm out and about. Not that anything as simple as that would stop the black bird conspiracy!

Well, according to Holly, my monitor protecting dragon, it appears 13 pinecones worth of hard.

Gotta keep those guys on their toes - or at least make sure they practice regularly - otherwise they'd get pretty bored.

Thanks. I made Holly a few years ago. Fully-jointed legs and wings, and wired backbone so he can pose as he wishes. Took me about 80 hours to make him. I got the pattern here. My plan is to (eventually) make a set of them - one for each element.
