Seriously though. Everything about ships > RL relationships. Completely me. It sounds so JUVENILE when I type it out like that, but when I read it in your entry it just sounded like the honest to god truth.... because it is. I don't care if it is juvenile and a defense mechanism. There are so many people who don't have any way AT ALL to express their passion. I consider myself one of the lucky ones.

H/D is also The One for me, in all the exact same ways. ("We'll never be quits. Never." YES. THIS) And I also have the same crazy exhilarating feeling with Inception. Inception is the only fandom that has come this close to touching HP for me. I didn't think it was possible. I'm still reeling from the fact that it is.

what i twig to about eames is that, as a forger, he's constantly involved in this kind of active state of empathy; he's always looking for ways to connect with people, genuinely, as part of his job. he knows how to manipulate them, but he also genuinely *cares* about robert and he wants him to have his moment, he wants him to grow. so there's this sort of constant on-switch when he's around other people

jdflasfdj oh god me too. and! and you know this is partly why i can't help seeing eames as the best boyfriend ever, because in my head he kind of can't help himself--he's so used to being that feedback loop for other people, and when you combine that with the constant on-switch and his actual love for arthur, it's like, what can he do except just be on, on, on for arthur all the time?

and i'm sure arthur has no idea what to do with that, i mean, who would?
