Hello! My friend and roommate tinkrbellicoptr joined this community and raved about how much she loved it, so I sluttishly joined too. I don't work in a bookstore or as a bookseller in any capacity--I work as a writer at a nonprofit; though I AM trying to SELL a book--but I passionately love books and I passionately love bookstores! I work in an online used bookstore - no brick and mortar at all. We got an email asking us about a particular offering we had. The woman wanted to know why we were selling a first edition Edward Gorey. Good thing I didn't have to write the reply.
