I think the schools should have a viewing for the parents before letting the kids watch it. I'm not an Obama supporter, but I don't think I'd have a problem letting my children participate. (Doesn't matter if it was Bill, George, or John.)

I think more people have a problem with the person delivering the message than the actual message. Because we all know points like "stay in school" and "education is important" are really offensive and it's not that a black liberal is saying it that bothers people.

I am uncomfortable with not being able to view it myself, first. I'm planning on opting my kids out, if their school is showing it. I'm sure it will be available online at some point, where I can view it and then show it to my kids if I want to.

I'm uncomfortable with any kind of politicalization of the classroom. I was completely on board last year with mock elections and inaugural parties. That's politically neutral, IMO. This...isn't.
