I want to see pictures of the embroidery project when you're done. I must go google "Mary Corbett". I bet I've seen her needlework, I'm just not recalling it right now.
Also glad to hear that you're getting treatment for the thyroid issue. Hope that helps you lots. It's a drug you need, like diabetics need their insulin.
Did you know that there is a livejournal community called "Craftgrrl"? People make stuff and post pictures. I was thinking you could always post pictures of the new slipcovers and the needle work there, if you want.
I'm definitely going to post pictures of the embroidery- it's too interesting not to. I was thinking of using dropbox for image hosting.
regarding the thyroid - yeah, I'm actually very good about taking meds like that. like i said, it could be worse, far worse. so i'm really ok with it. I think i'm really getting frustrated with growing older, though!
While it's unfortunate that you have to deal with thyroid issues, it's good that they now have meds for it - my sis has the same issue.
Can we get some pics of your crafts? And your pupper (^_^)/
What kind of diet are you on? I gained a lot of weight on chemo (go figure) so now I have to find a way to shed it. Diets are usually a failure for me due to the wartime lack of food so I always feel like if I don't eat now I will not have access to another meal ever.
Feel free to post in whatever format you can; we're eagerly looking forward to any kinds of updates!
