I think it's been about 52 years since I actually looked forward to anything other than the weather at Christmas. A good day today, gadding about town. I went to the hairdressers, which was most fun. ... really, I am. I just looked at some photos of snowboarding slopes from the top, you know, as if you're about to whizz your way down. They're long, slopey and steep, and some of them have trees on them. Some of them are narrow and there are edges.
